Testimony of Md. Alamgir

I was appointed as the Investigating Officer for ICT-BD Miscellaneous Case No. 02 of 2024 (ICT-1). On February 22, 2025, from the office of the Head of the Department of Forensic Medicine at Rangpur Medical College Hospital, I seized four post-mortem reports from two registers (books) used in the year 2024. These post-mortem reports belonged to Shaheed Abu Sayed. The post-mortem reports were seized from original Volume Nos. 09 and 10 in the presence of two witnesses under a seizure list and were handed over to the custody (Jimma) of the Head of the Department.

Subsequently, Mr. Ruhul Amin, Deputy Director of the International Crimes Tribunal Investigation Agency and Investigating Officer of Complaint Register No. 156 (dated Feb 23, 2025), collected this seizure list from me for the sake of his investigation. If desired, I can produce the seizure list along with the ‘Jimmanama’ (Custody Bond) and relevant documents in the form of photocopies. The original copy of the seizure list is currently filed with ICT-BD Miscellaneous Case No. 02 of 2025, having been retrieved from ICT-BD Miscellaneous Case No. 02 of 2024. This is that seizure list (pages 352 and 353) bear my signature as the preparer, which are marked as Exhibits-26 and 26A. This concludes my deposition.

I do not recall whether Mr. Ruhul Amin formally requested the seizure list and relevant documents from me in writing. On page 352 of this seizure list, there are no signatures of mine or the witnesses; however, signatures are present on page 353. I do not currently have the four seized post-mortem reports in my possession.
