Trial relating to death of Abu Sayed

Court 2               Case no 1/2025                 Trial Day 1                10th Dec 2025                   Back to Trial page

Witness 24: Tanvir Hasan Zoha

Testimony of Tanvir Hasan Zoha.

I am Tanvir Hasan Zoha, currently working as a Prosecutor, Digital Forensic Expert, and Special
Investigating Officer at the International Crimes Tribunal, Bangladesh.

Regarding the Abu Sayed murder case, in the CCTV footage from Begum Rokeya University, the “in and out” time of the incident is seen as 2:45 PM. On the other hand, in the video footage broadcast by NTV, the time is seen as 2:17 PM. To determine the correct timing, Investigating Officer Ruhul Amin consulted with me. Since the CCTV’s internal clock was not calibrated according to Bangladesh Standard Time, and because NTV’s internal clock was calibrated according to Bangladesh Standard Time using the same method, and because NTV’s router—a portable TP-Link 4G LTE Mobile Wi-Fi (Model M7310), bearing IMEI number 86977020801181 and MAC Address 70-8B-CD-E9-B3-28—was being operated and controlled with a Micro SIM card inside the device (Operator Robi, ICCID), SIM number 8801866568715 and a MicroSD memory card, the time of the murder is calculated as correct at 2:17 PM.

This is my deposition.
