Testimony of ASI (Unarmed) Md. Bayezid Khan

My name is ASI Md. Bayezid Khan. I am 39 years old. I am currently working as an officer in charge at the Investigation Agency of the International Crimes Tribunal.

On 22/08/2025 at 3:00 PM, the Investigating Officer (IO) of this case, Syed Abdur Rouf (Deputy Director), seized two CID forensic reports in my presence via a seizure list from his own room in the office of another Investigating Officer, Md. Alamgir.

On 29/07/25 at 12:10 PM, the Investigating Officer of this case, Syed Abdur Rouf, seized signed copies of two CDs and two Command Certificates (CC) in my presence at the duty officer’s room of Rampura Police Station, as presented by SI Md. Shahin Miah.

XXX Cross-examination on behalf of Chanchal Chandra Sarker:

I have seen what items were seized; I was present during the seizure by the Investigating Officer.

I do not know who recorded the matter of Chanchal Chandra Sarker firing shots in the GD (General Diary).

It is not true that I did not see what the Investigating Officer seized as presented by SI Shahin Miah.

In one of the two CCs seized in my presence, the name of Chanchal Chandra Sarker was mentioned. However, I do not know what was written inside.

It is not true that I have given false testimony under influence.

Cross-Examintation on behalf of absconding accused Habibur Rahman, MD Rashedul Islam, MD Moshiur Rahman & Tarikul Islam Bhuiyan by learned state defence counsel-

I do not know what was written inside the seized evidence.

It is not true that I signed the seizure list out of fear of my superior officer, Investigating Officer Syed Abdur Rouf.

It is not true that Milton Miah did not testify in my presence on 22/04/25 or that the signature on the seizure list is not Milton Miah’s signature.

There is no similarity between my signature and Milton Miah’s signature as witnesses. This is because Constable and AM Saeed do not possess any seals.

It is not true that I testified without understanding.
