Testimony of Md. Shahez Zubair Lawrence

My name is Md. Shahez Zubair Lawrence. Age 30. Village: XXX Post: XXX, Police Station: XXX, District: Tangail.

I am currently working as a Sub-Inspector in the Forensic Branch, CID, Dhaka.

On 12-5-2025, I received a CD containing one video file from the International Crimes Tribunal Investigation Agency, reference Complaint Register Serial No. 127, dated 14-08-2024. The CD contained the purported conversation between former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and former Dhaka University VC Maksud Kamal. The received video contained an authentic audio file with the conversation between Sheikh Hasina and Maksud Kamal.

The voice samples were segmented. The female voice sample from the purported conversation stored in the CD was found to match the sample voice of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The male voice sample obtained through segmentation was found to match the voice of Maksud Kamal. Sheikh Hasina’s LR (Likelihood Ratio) score was 2.75145, and Maksud Kamal’s LR (Likelihood Ratio) score was 4.64153. The transcription of their conversation is mentioned in the opinion.
